About
I’m Lydia and I took a 7.5-month semi-sabbatical with my dog Isabel from October 2009 to May 2010. We traveled around the U.S. by car to see (and sniff) a few places we’d always wanted to check out and visit friends and family we hadn’t seen in awhile. You can read about those adventures in the archives. Now we’re back in one place (Indianapolis) exploring still, just in smaller ranges.
One thing I figured out while on the road trip is that life doesn’t have to be about making big and grand gestures (like a cross-country road trip) in order to be meaningful or to feel like living. It’s all in noticing the little things — finding passion and meaning in daily life. Living happens every day. It’s up to us to pay attention and give it significance. That’s what this blog is about now.
