I came into Indy for the weekend to celebrate Carrie’s 30th birthday (and to get Isabel her last Lyme’s Disease vaccination). It was nice to see old friends again, and it made it feel less like I was on a road trip. It still hasn’t sunk in yet.

At the birthday party we played the Wii:

Saturday afternoon Ryan and I took Isabel out for a hike. I found this leaf, which I intend to paint a watercolor of sometime soon:

And Carrie and I went for a walk on Sunday and came across this bird made out of tires, pretty neat:

Now, I head back to the Red for more climbing! Perhaps this will feel like a road trip soon.

And met a horse:

This horse is in the middle of Carissa’s subdivision, fenced in among the houses and sidewalks. It was a very friendly horse, though Isabel didn’t know what to make of it, so she growled and kept her distance.

So far, good trip.
